Weston’s stepmother Amy Gosa made her own message on Facebook in which she said that an autopsy would soon be. She said Weston had struggled with health problems, including diabetes, but the family was “in shock” after being unable to wake him up on Monday. “He was the most incredible son I could have asked. He was brilliant, intelligent, funny and had so much potential in life,” wrote Gosa. “It doesn’t feel real. Please keep our family and Whitney in your thoughts and prayers while we mourn an incredible incredible life that was our son.”
While speaking exclusively with the people of Weston’s death, Purvis admitted that it was difficult to face after the death of his son. “When I don’t cry, I just look at the ceiling. I never wanted to go through something like that. I mean, I know that nobody does it, but you never think that it will happen to you, and I can’t even imagine a future now. I can’t imagine continuing after that,” she shared.
