Canadian GP: Lando Norris just fastest from Charles Leclerc, George Russell in competitive final practice | F1 News

Lando Norris has just given the pace of Charles Leclerc and George Russell at the top of the time sheet while McLaren’s teammate Oscar Piastri hit the wall during the final training at the Canadian Grand Prix.

In the last session before qualifying at 9 p.m. Sky Sports F1 – The leaders of the McLaren championship gave the pace for the first time this weekend after what Norris had described as their “worst” on Friday of the season.

Norris’ end of session time on soft tires of 1: 11.799 proved to be the fastest of the session, although the McLaren rivals remained close from behind.

A late tour on the gentle used tires of Charles Leclerc saw the driver of Ferrari finish in a tenth in the head of McLaren, just before Friday Pacesetter Russell in the Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton in the other Ferrari after an improved session for the seventh champion.
