Fans know Seth Meyers as having an affable nature, but the Late at night The host admitted that he could lose his composure when he was showing the show.
In a recent episode of Speak easy with Sam Fragoso, Meyers shared that he uses Late at night The producer office Michael Shoemaker to get rid of steam.
“I think that when you have a spectacle like mine, it is really important not to lose your composure in front of everyone,” said Meyers. “It is impossible not to lose your composure, so what I like to do is that I just like to enter your office, which is right next to it, then I will just cry on it, usually about someone else for about 30 seconds, then I feel much better.”
Meyers and Shoemaker have been working together since Meyers joined Saturday Night Live In 2001, the producer therefore saw his fair share of the host explosions.
The old former “weekend update” said the New York Times That he put a hole in the wall of his dressing room at Snl After obtaining a sketch of the show. Meyers had opened her door with such strength that the handle penetrated the wall.
He told Fragoso that Shoemaker had refused to repair the damage so that Meyers remembers what extent he was “petulant”.

But what happens when Shoemaker is not there to talk about Meyers of the edge? Well, the actor recently created a new monument to his stress in his office.
When Shoemaker was absent for two weeks recovering from a knee operation, Meyers admitted that a minor drawback had pushed him to his “breakdown”. While working on a “correctional” segment for Late at nightMeyers was invited to try new pants, but he felt “fully mentally taxed”.
Meyers continued: “I took a uniball pen when I was reminded of the pants thing, and I threw it through the room, and it exploded on the wall. And it’s a big Rorschach. You couldn’t ask for a better ink.”
Instead of cleaning the mess, however, Shoemaker has once again transformed the radiance as a reminder for Meyers.
“We are going to leave him as a memory of what’s going on when Shoemaker is gone,” said Meyers. “And there will be a plaque:” It commemorates the eight days that Seth had to work without a shoemaker. “”
