Cafe denies Olivia Rodrigo’s team had Taylor Swift’s photos removed
The director of the Bluebird Cafe de Nashville erases the rumors of a quarrel between Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.
Thanks to a video resurfaced by one of the coffee employees, fans speculated that when Rodrigo played the historic place in 2023, his team asked that Swift photographs be removed from the walls. While the Director General and Head of Operation Erica Nichols confirmed that photos of Swift had been taken before Rodrigo’s performance, she said that this was ultimately summed up with a copyright problem.
“We had a shoot with Olivia Rodrigo here,” said Nichols in a video shared on Wednesday at X. “The people of Olivia did not ask us to delete an image of Taylor Swift. No one did. We deleted an image of Taylor Swift which was in a position where the shooting took place.”

She continued: “When we have filming, we must legally delete images that are copyright. We do not have these images, so we cannot authorize the use of these images in all kinds of diffusion. This is the only reason why the photography was deleted from where it was held.”
Nichols also pointed out that several Swift photos in the cafe have remained and images protected by copyright from other artists have also been deleted. She said that the employee who said that the opposite “talked about it without concern and at random, perhaps trying to be funny” and did not have all the information on deleted images “for legal reasons”.
She added: “It was nothing between two artists. We support all the songwriters, all the artists and give them an equal part. Taylor is a great friend of the Bluebird, and we hold it in the highest esteem. We were honored to have Olivia here, and know that they both live in our regard.”
Speculations have started in response to a video circulating on social networks, which sees an employee remember that Rodrigo will perform on the site in 2023.
“And what happened before you start playing? What did you do? What was the amendment you did?” An out -of -camera person asked the employee.
“We have sworn to remove all the visible signs of Taylor Swift,” replied the employee, “we respect girls”.

Rumors of a quarrel between Rodrigo and Swift emerged in 2023, when Rodrigo released “Vampire”, the main single of his second album, Tripe. The track sees Rodrigo calling a “Famef — er” which did not hesitate to “sailer ‘me dry like a fucking vampire”. Although she refused to name the subject of the song, the fans quickly started to speculate that the words referred to the copyright dispute between the two pop sensations.

After the success of his first album, SourRodrigo retroactively credited Swift on two tracks, “already seen” and “1 steps forward, 3 steps back”, also giving it 50% of the credits and royalties for the respective tracks.
The same year, Rodrigo raised the shoulders of rumors of a quarrel between the two. “I have beef with anyone,” said the Disney alum Roller. “I’m very cold. I continue for myself. I have my four friends and my mother, and it’s really the only people I talk to.
