Jack Wagner on sharing last ‘Melrose Place’ scene with Heather Locklear
Jack Wagner could not be more proud of the role he played in the history of television.

In the Melrose Place The final, entitled “Asses to Ashes”, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) are on the run due to allegations of diversion against the first and allegations of murder against the latter. They are presumed dead when their hiding place explodes, but when Kyle (Rob Estes) receives the Amanda medallion by post, he knows that something is happening. “She said that she would send me her medallion if we had a little girl,” he told the new mother Jane (Josie Bissett).
Cut on a tropical island, where Peter and Amanda get married during a secret ceremony. “Two corpses have burned beyond the recognition of the university, changing dental paintings, no one will suspect one thing,” said Peter, both conspiratorial and romantically.
“Our own island is miles from civilization,” said Amanda. “Do you think we will get bored?” Although they both agree, they will also swear to “have a lot of little children” to populate their new Eden and go at sunset.
“It was something that it will be a stamp on my career, just for me personally,” recalls Wagner. “I don’t know if someone will never remember, but having this kind of emblematic show at night, and it was a big show for me to spend from day to night, it was really huge for my career. To be able to buy an island, simulate our dead, Amanda and Peter get married, and then the final episode is this photo of us taking the arm.”
The romance on Wagner and Locklear’s screen continued over screen several years after 1999 Melrose Place final. The couple met in 2007 and started in 2011, although they interrupted their commitments in a few months.

Wagner recently married the singer-songwriter Michelle Wolf in Italy after four years of meetings. But like Peter and Amanda, Wagner and Locklear remain in the life of the other despite the seasons that can come and go.
“Heather sent me a text this morning, congratulating me to be married,” he said. “So we stayed friendly in this way. We really did it, huh?”
