Warning: this article contains spoilers for pixar Elio.
Elio Finally transmitted to theaters.
Disney and Pixar’s latest adventure follows a lonely young boy named Elio (expressed by Yonas Kibreab) while traveling from an air base in space in a search for goal and friendship. While he tries to impress the intergalactic council known as the common, Elio is forced to negotiate peace between the extraterrestrial congress and the villain of the Lord Grigon chalet (Brad Garrett).
Along the way, Elio befriends Glord, the easy -to -live young son of Grigon who happily becomes a negotiation program in an act of rebellion against his father. And during all this time, a look -alike fills Elio’s shoes at home so that the aunt of Terrling, Olga (Zoe Saldaña), does not notice her absence.
The last section of Elio Sends his young protagonist to a rescue mission to save GLODON and the community of the respective claws of military researchers and the army of Grigon – on the opposite sides of the universe. And there are some additional treats for the public which also remain the credits.
Here’s how the end of Elio plays.
How Elio END?
Disney / Pixar
The last act of Elio sees the holder Space Traveler teleport on Earth after trying without success by Duper Grigon with a glome clone. Elio finds Olga, and the duo joins forces with the protagonist goopy clone to save the real Glord, which inadvertently took a small spacecraft on earth and was intercepted by the Olga superiors in the army.
While the clone creates a diversion, Elio and Olga commanded the spacecraft of Glord and Dodge Dangerous Debris while they leave the orbit of the Earth – with a little help of the amateur radio of the world around the world, including the knowledge of Elio Bryce (Young Dylan) and the colleague of Olga (Brendan Hunt).
Elio and Olga successfully refer GLOGON to Grigon, who resuscitates his son and kisses him in tears at the base of the common. The intergalactic council then invites Elio to join them as a permanent ambassador on earth, but he refuses the offer so that he can give another chance to the earth.
In the last scene of the film before the credits, the whole base of the commune goes to earth to bring Elio and Olga back to the house, inspiring the wonder amazed in all those who testify to it on the horizon.

In an unusual decision for a Pixar film, Elio Ends with the audio of a real figure – and which does not appear in the film, to that.
While the commune appears in the sky to return Elio and his aunt to their native planet, we hear Carl Sagan discuss the search for extraterrestrial life. “The search for life elsewhere is remarkable in our time, because it is the first time that we can really do something other than speculation,” explains Sagan in an audio clip withdrawn from an interview of 1985 with Studs Terkel from the WFMT radio station in Chicago.
Sagan, the famous astronomer who helped to communicate scientific ideas that are largely worn by the general public through projects like Cosmospromoted his novel Contact When he gave the quote above. Elio The director Domee Shi said Weekly entertainment that ContactWho was then adapted to a film by Robert Zemeckis, served as a key inspiration for the Pixar project.
“We love the idea that space is full of hope and that humanity’s answers could be somewhere,” said the filmmaker. “I just like how ContactThey show extraterrestrials in such an ambitious and positive way, and not something really scary that has just brought us or come to replace us. “”
Do Elio Do you have a post-key scene?
Pixar
Yes, if you stay in the first section of the credits of ElioYou will see a brief additional scene with the main character and his new friend, Bryce, as well as a second scene at the end of the credits that teases the next Pixar film. In the first scene, the two children sit on the beach when they receive a message from a mysterious calling on their amateur radio.
“Glord, your disc is stifled,” says Elio, indicating that his extraterrestrial boyfriend has not properly deployed his commonbody – the futuristic device which serves as a universal translator and controls temperature and gravity.
“Oops, sorry,” said Glord on the radio, apparently turning on his disc. “Tell me All! “”
Just that Elio opens her mouth to answer, the scene cuts and the credits come back.
There is also another Brief scene at the very end of the credits (even after the Disney and Pixar logos!) This teases the next Pixar project, Death.
How Elio tease Death?
Disney / Pixar
After seating through all Eliocredits, you will see a last clip – but it is not really Elio.
Instead, the last moment shows a lizard several times slamming a touch screen, and we hear a robotic voice say “Lizard. Lizard. Lizard.” Again and again. The scene reveals that the lizard has obsessively pressure on the icon of Lézard emoji, although it is not clear why the reptile sends SMS, or how it crossed the path with a touch screen in the first place.
The film then cuts the logo to Deathannouncing that the next Pixar film will be released in theaters in March 2026.
The scene does not do much to help the public understand anything on the plot or the premise of Death. However, the best Pixar brass previously revealed that the film follows a young human woman who jumps into the body of a synthetic beaver and bowed with the population of local beavers to prevent the destruction of its local wetlands. (Basically Avatar with aquatic mammals instead of NA’VI.)
