Ryan Gosling is a reluctant astronaut in ‘Project Hail Mary’ trailer

In Hail Mary projectRyan Gosling takes place in space, whether he likes it or not.

Fortunately, the triple candidate for Oscars is not unrelated to the joys of an interstellar trip. In addition to playing like Neil Armstrong First manGosling will soon go to a galaxy far, far in a Star Wars Film directed by Deadpool and Wolverine Director Shawn Levy.

Unfortunately, this curriculum vitae does not come into play with regard to its role as Ryland Grace – a teacher of intermediate sciences who happens to be the last hope of humanity.

Based on a book byThe Martian Author Andy Weir, Hail Mary project Sees Ryland wake up on a coma only to discover that he is alone, cross the galaxy in a spacecraft which he does not remember to embark. His mission? It’s simple: save the world.

As his memories come back, Ryland realizes that he must resolve the enigma of a mysterious substance killing stars that threatens the sun of the earth. But it is easier to say than to do, given his limited experience in space.

“I am not an astronaut,” said Ryland several times in the first trailer for the film produced by Amazon MGM.

At one point, he tells a room full of scientists: “I put it not In astronaut! I have never done anything, I have never walked in space – I can’t even Moonwalk. “”

But Ryland has more than his own scientific expertise to cross the mission – he also has the help of an unexpected companion. As the trailer reveals, the land is not the only planet in danger, and Ryland is not the only astronaut on a mission to save its people.

In the midst of his interstellar research, Ryland finds himself face to face with an extraterrestrial life form – and just like that, a friendship flourishes.

“He is growing up with me a bit,” Ryland told his video newspaper. “At least he doesn’t grow up in me, you know? What was a concern for a little while.”

The science fiction adventure is from Spider-man: in the spider The directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, with a script of Drew Goddard (The Martian, the cabin in the woods). The film also features Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung and Milana Vayntrub.
