Tyson Fury confirmed that he would return to boxing in 2026, explains Turki Alashikh, president of the general entertainment authority of Saudi Arabia.
Fury announced that he had withdrawn from boxing in January earlier this year, a month after his defeat in Unanimous in Oleksandr Usyk in the heavy brief match of the pair.

Alashikh went to social networks on Wednesday to announce the return of Fury, pointing to a fight against the trilogy against the Usyk.
“The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back !!! I spoke with him, and I have his word to have it in the Riyadh season in 2026. We have a rabbit to hunt!” Alashikh wrote on X.
Fury this week suggested that he would only return to boxing to fight Usyk in the United Kingdom. The Ukrainian beat Fury twice last year, the first of which seeing him become an undeniable heavyweight champion.
Asked about his reflections on the Usyk against Daniel Dubois for the undisputed heavy goods vehicle on July 19, Fury spoke of the possibility of a return.
“Dubois is very young and ambitious. Usyk is very experienced. But he has just fought with me, which is questionable that he won them or not, which he did not do, but he obtained the decision that is all that matters,” he said.
“If I was going to come back, I would come back for Usyk, but I want a fair result in England. It would be the fight I want afterwards.

Earlier, speaking to the media, Fury said: “Why would I come back? There is not much to come back. Does the love of sport overthrow my health?

Fury had previously announced his retirement in April 2022 after beating Dillian Whyte but returned six months later to fight Derek Chisora.
The double world heavyweight champion won his first title when he beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
