Mark Ruffalo slams Joe Rogan over ‘late’ criticism of ICE immigration raids

Podcast host Joe Rogan has found his common sense, according to Mark Ruffalo – but not early enough.

“Dear @joerogan. It is a bit late now to claim that the 2025 project did not exist and was not the game book from the start,” The Avengers Star, 57, wrote on Sunday on the position of change of Rogan on the immigration policies of President Donald Trump.

“You are not so intelligent or not so stupid. It is difficult to say it at this stage,” Ruffalo wrote in response to a video shared by the Newssee Holler gradual site on threads.

Weekly entertainment contacted a representative for Rogan to comment.

The video presented a clip from the July 2 episode of The Joe Rogan experiencein which the first Fear factor The host discussed with the guest Amjad Masad the recent wave of immigration raids and the application of customs that Trump ordered across the country, which triggered a large controversy for the brutality of their execution, ice agents and their affiliates to use masks and a tendency to deception, and even to target children, immigrants without criminals, legal, and even American citizens.

“There are two things that are crazy: the first is the targeting of migrant workers. Not members of the cartel, not gang members, not drug traffickers, just construction workers who present themselves on construction sites, attackers. The gardeners, like, really?” Said Rogan.

A free progressive, Ruffalo frequently condemns the Raids of the Trump administration, which started in June.

“When you have working class people who go after the poor and other working class, you know that you live in an oligarchy,” said Ruffalo in a long note on Instagram criticizing the effort of June 7, the day after the ice of his first sweeping in Los Angeles.

Rogan is a controversial political figure, which has been criticized from the left to comply with the conservatives and criticized the law to be achievable at liberal and progressive positions. He declared in 2020 that he would vote for the socialist Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders in the primary of California, but a few days before the elections of last November, he threw his weight behind Trump.

Although Rogan has expressed skepticism and disapproval of Trump’s immigration policies since at least March, he also looked like the theories of the xenophobic conspiracy, as when he suggested to Senator John Fetterman de Pennsylvania last November that amnesty policies are designed by Democrats to allow “people” [that] Will be moved to swing states and this will mainly be used to essentially fuel these states and return them to blue forever. “”

Despite their differences, Rogan is now joining Ruffalo and an increasing number of celebrities who call on the Trump administration to stop raids that have resulted in around 56,000 people currently in detention.

In June, the musician and producer Finneas revealed that he had been the lawn by protesting against the ice in Los Angeles. The winner of the Grammy Bad Bunny criticized ice agents performing raids in his native Puerto like “Sons of Bitches”.

“Many people feel persecuted,” deplored Mexican star Diego Luna in the June 23 episode of Jimmy Kimmel live. “Far too many people live in fear. These people are your neighbors, your friends. It is very unfair and let me tell you why: the several times that this country must have rebuilt, immigrants were still there to take over.”
