Snoop Dogg is expected to become an investor in Swansea City.

Sky Sports News learned that the American rapper and producer plans to use his own money to invest in the club, just a few days after appearing in their new launch video of the domestic kit.

The American owners of Swansea, led by Brett Travatt and Jason Cohen, are trying to develop the global brand of the championship club and to increase commercial income.

Snoop Dogg, 53, has 89 m followers on Instagram and more than 20m on X.

In April, Luka Modric was announced as a co -owner and investor of Swansea.

Swansea did not reveal how the winner of the 2018 Golden Ballon had invested, but he expressed his enthusiasm during the occasion to use his knowledge to help Welsh outfit.

“Playing at the highest level, I think I can provide my experience at the club.

“My goal is to support club growth in a positive way and to help build an exciting future.”
