Chris Martin embarrasses couple, accuses them of affair

Shy camera or 4K socket?

The Internet spends a day on the ground after the singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, accidentally put a projector on a reluctant couple. During the Wednesday evening show of the group at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., The jumbotron camera turned its attention to a cuddly couple in the crowd of the balcony.

“Oh, look at these two,” said Martin. But, to their surprise, the couple did not seem excited by the spotlight and instead, separated.

The blonde woman and the gray hair man locked themselves in a loving embrace quickly obscured the view of the camera, the woman covering her face and turning her back while the man was slowly out of the frame.

Meanwhile, Martin made live comments.

“Very well, come on, you’re fine,” started Martin. As they continued their panicked efforts to hide, the singer confused exclaimed: “Uh oh. What?!”

After a while, Martin joked: “Either they have an affair, or they are simply very shy.”

Concert interaction quickly went around once he hit social media, with commentators doing a lot of jokes in accordance with Martin’s assessment.

“There is no plausible reason why they would act in this way unless they have a matter,” wrote one of them. “Period. I cannot convince myself of the contrary.”

Another joked, “if I saw my husband snuggle up with his mistress during the Coldplay concert, I would actually be sent to the psychological district.”

A spectator thought: “They did is much worse while hiding.”

Martin is certainly not the first artists to trigger an embarrassing moment with a choice of Came Kiss. Last year, Olivia Rodrigo made two brothers and sisters grimacted when she put them under the spotlight during a Sydney concert.

“You are so cute,” said the singer, in a clip shared on Tiktok. “Hey, I have a really cute and fun thing to ask. Tripe Cam?”

The brother was quick to clarify, encouraging Rodrigo to exclaim: “Is she your sister?!
