Mandy Moore calls out husband Taylor Goldsmith for lying about seeing ‘A Walk to Remember’

While one of Mandy Moore’s favorite roles is Jamie Sullivan in romantic drama A walk to remember, Her husband Taylor Goldsmith has apparently not seen the classic adaptation of the 2002 Nicholas Sparks film.

THE It’s us actress stopped at the I’m not going to lie Podcast and told the host Kylie Kelce that her singer husband recently managed to watch the film with a friend.

“I think he lied the other day,” she said. “Someone was like”A walk to remember is so sad. He’s like, “yeah, so sad.” I say to myself: ‘you have never seen it.’ “”

A walk to remember was the first foray for the former pop star in the game. Moore said that she really wanted the role because she was a massive fan of the author Nicholas Sparks. More than two decades after the release of the film, she shared that it is “incredible” that young people always discover the sweetness story of Jamie and Landon (Shane West).

“I loved this story and, you know, finally get the play and be part of the story of this story was like a real boon,” she said.

As for Goldsmith, Moore said that she could make her first melodrama watch a family affair, although they should wait a few more years.

“Perhaps one day we will have, like a group with our children when they age,” she said.
