Boxing schedule for 2025: Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios, Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois on deck

Boxing rolls during the summer months with a suddenly busy calendar. After a slow start in the summer in June, things resumed a little in July.

Katie Taylor came out victorious from her trilogy with Amanda Serrano at the Madison Square Garden to keep her undisputed Welter junior weight title. And Shakur Stevenson removed William Zepeda to keep his title the following night while Hamzah Sheeraz became a high -level premium with a TKO from Edgar Berlanga.

Now things become even more eventful on July 19 with a double head of action. First of all, the unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is looking to go 2 for 2 against Daniel Dubois in their revenge match in London. USYK won the victory at its first meeting in 2023 in somewhat controversial terms. The Dubois team estimated that a punch that had been judged by a lowblow should have counted as a Knockout when Ushk could not reach his feet. But the video showed the punch clearly under the belt line. Now Usyk hopes to leave without a doubt.

Then, in the Nightcap, the world champion of eight division Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring when he challenges the weight champion Welter WBC, Mario Barrios in Las Vegas. Pacquiao, 46, has not fought since a defeat in 2021 against Yordenis Ugas for the WBA title.

Summer ends for the most part on September 13 when Canelo Alvarez confronts Terence Crawford of the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
