British GP: Max Verstappen ‘carrying’ Red Bull says McLaren chief Zak Brown amid Mercedes links | F1 News
McLaren CEO Zak Brown said Red Bull is said to be at the origin of Sister Team Racing Bulls without a maximum Verstappen in the midst of a new uncertainty over the future of Dutch.

Verstappen, who is 61 points behind the leader of the Oscar Piastri championship, has an undefeated record against his teammates Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda this year.
While the Dutchman has two pole positions and two victories, his teammates had only three points between them and Tsunoda is on a series of three consecutive eliminations of the first quarter.
Since his return to Racing Bulls, Lawson has been more comfortable in the car, with himself and Isack Hadjar exceeding Tsunoda from Red Bull.

Brown said: “Red Bull would be behind racing bulls [without Verstappen]. They did a great job and have an excellent racing car. I think Max is currently wearing them. “”
The boss of McLaren also told people to “stay attentive because there could be another chapter” in the Verstappen to Mercedes links.
Lando Norris, who has regularly rolled for wheel with Verstappen in the past 12 months, says that the Dutchman “will decide where he thinks he is the best”.
“I don’t care where he’s going. I appreciate Max as a competitor. He is a little hard but I like our battles together,” he said Sky Sports News.

HORNER: Verstappen Speculation is a lot of noise
Verstappen signed a Red Bull contract in 2022 to stay with the team until 2028, but has been linked to Mercedes since last year.

“So everything is completely speculative that is said, but we tend not to pay too much attention to it.”
He added: “I can imagine that George is frustrated, he has not yet received a contract, but it is between him and his team.
“The situation with Max, we clearly know where we are and obviously, just like Max. Everything is subject to noise and, obviously, in any contract, it remains confidential between the parties.”
