Bruce Willis’ family comes for the star on Father’s Day.
Emma Heming Willis, the wife of the action icon since 2009, and Rumer Willis, one of the three girls he shared with the former half Moore, published poignant tributes to Bruce on social networks on Sunday in the middle of her current battle against frontotemporal dementia.
“Happy Father’s Day to all dads living with handicap or illness, presenting themselves in the way they can and to children who present themselves for them,” started Emma in her Instagram post, who presented a Bruce photo with their daughter, Mabel Ray Willis. “What Bruce teaches our daughters goes far beyond words. Resilience, unconditional love and silent force to be simply present.”
But Father’s Day is not all the happiness and gratitude in the face of the challenges caused by dementia, said Emma.
“To be fair to myself, these symbolic days arouse a lot. I am deeply sad today. Bruce’s youngest daughter with Moore, Tallulah Willis, showed her support for Stepmom Emma in a comment on her post who said: “Love yourself so much. Love him. Love our family.”
In an Instagram story published the same day, Emma shared a photo of Bruce with their two daughters, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, posed in a museum in front of a skeleton of dinosaur.
“I miss and cry what was. Even these days Ugg 😉 I want everything to come back,” she wrote in the photo.
Rumer, Bruce and Moore’s eldest girl, shared a position expressing an equally complicated relationship with Father’s Day, a tour with joy and pain.
“Today is difficult, I feel deep pain in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I do and what is going on in my life. To kiss you and ask you questions about life and your stories, your difficulties and your successes. I would like to ask you more questions while you could still talk to me about all of this,” she wrote, as if you have answered her father.

Bruce and Moore were married in 1987, separated in 1998 and finalized their divorce in 2000. In that time, they had Rumer Glenn, 36, Scout Larue, 33, and Tallulah Belle, 31 years old. Moore and the three of their daughters have shown incessant Bruce since her diagnosis of aphasia in 2022.
