Celtic has signed defender Hayato Inamura of Albirex Niigata for a four -year contract.

The 23-year-old, who plays like a central defender on the left but can also provide a rear coverage, he stayed two years on his contract with the side of the J-League.

He joined the club threatened with relegation from Toyo University in 2021 and obtained a J-League Cup finalist medal last season.

Hayato made 33 senior appearances in League J and has not yet been called to the Japanese team.
