Coldplay made waves after capturing the couple in Canoodling on a jumbotron during the group’s concert stop at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., Wednesday evening. Jumbotron is a piece of routine during Coldplay shows, where the camera scans the crowd and landed on participants in concerts without distrust; The singer Martin then improvises a brief song on the subjects captured on the screen.

Wednesday’s song took an unexpected turn when the cameras landed on Byron and Cabot, captured in a warm embrace. Their reactions quickly became viral: Byron immediately got out of the frame, while Cabot has hastily covered his face before turning to escape the frame. Martin’s comment? “Very well, come on, you’re fine. Uh oh, what? Either they have a matter, either they are just very shy.”

Internet detectives quickly identified Byron and Cabot, who would both have families.

The incident is not the first time that a Kiss of concert cam has gone wrong: Olivia Rodrigo inadvertently asked two brothers and sisters to kiss on the Tripe Cam during his tour stops in Sydney last year. “She’s your sister?! S —! Whatever, too bad, delete that,” joked the songwriter-interpreter on clarifications.
