A source with knowledge of the situation indicates to EW: “No one asks anything, and nobody denies anything. They do not argue about children or money. They used mediators, not lawyers, because they are friends and that is friendly. They were invited to deposit in this way that seem to have caused the confusion of the media.”

Mulroney and Apollinaare began to go out together in 2008 and welcomed their first daughter later that year, according to People. Their second daughter arrived in 2009 and the couple made the knot in December 2010.

Last year, before the release of Apollinaare’s fourth album, Elle and Mulroney spoke of their relationship and shared the love of music after appearing together in the singing game We are the family.

“It was such an incredible phone call to get the show contacted us,” Mulroney told EW at the time. “They knew Prima music and set up that we have been this kind of secret couple even if we have been together for 20 years. A kind of stealthy Hollywood couple. It is therefore really perfect for this program. And then it was an honor to be in a television game that helps others and are not only fun and games, even if we could not have more pleasure.”
