Fluminense vs. Dortmund live stream, how to watch Club World Cup, prediction: Odds, how to watch, pick
Fluminense will launch his campaign of the FIFA Club World Cup and will face the German giants of Borussia Dortmund during their opening match of the tournament. The Brazilians lost the final of the 2023-24 club World Cup in the previous format of the competition against Manchester City of Pep Guardiola. The quadruples Brazilian champions, who raised the Copa Libertadores 2023 and the 2024 recommendation, will face a Borussia Dortmund who has just signed his new star, Jobe Bellingham, who will follow the stages of his brother, now playing Real Madrid.
Fluminense has never played against a German team in its history. Dortmund won the 1997 Intercontinental Cup, the direct predecessor of the Club World Cup, beating Cruzeiro from Brazil. The two parties will later face the Mamelodi of South Africa and the Ulsan Hyundai football club in South Korea in the group phase. Here are scenarios, how you can watch the match and more:

Jobe Bellingham to start on the bench
The move from Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland to Borussia Dortmund was among the most titled agreements during the mini transfer window that preceded the club World Cup and although the 19 -year -old can make his debut on Tuesday, it will not be because he begins.
“He will not start the match tomorrow,” said Dortmund manager Niko Kovac on Monday in his pre-match remarks, “because I think he’s only with us for a week and that it is not enough to find out about our routines and our principles.”
He expects Bellingham to win a few minutes during the Club World Cup after a solid first week with the group.
“It is in great shape, in very good shape,” said Kovac about Bellingham. “I am quite surprised but I am also very happy.”
The young Bellingham joined Dortmund after a few impressive seasons in the lower divisions of England, more recently with Sunderland in the championship. He made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Black Cats and scored four goals before his move to Germany, playing 90 minutes in their final victory for the playoffs against Sheffield United last month. Kovac describes Bellingham as someone who will add quality to his list, who will be essential after a season which was sometimes unlikely for the pillar of Bundesliga.
“We have a quality in the team and we want to increase the quality which is our expectation during each transfer window. We are not going to reinvent the wheel,” said Kovac. “In football, everyone is fighting for their post, but I think it is too early that Jobe will have this position. I am sure he wants to have this position. He was only with us.”
Player to watch
Jobe Bellingham, BVB – Even if he should not start in the tournament’s opening match, there is a lot of pressure on Bellingham after his Soundland move this summer. Real Madrid’s brother’s brother will make his debut with the German team in the tournament before the new season and many expect him to reproduce what his brother Jude has done to the German club.
Scenario to watch
Will Gio Reyna deliver? A successful club World Cup can increase its chances of attracting interest in summer, while Reyna seeks to make this necessary step in his career, especially before the 2026 World Cup from less than a year. Reyna missed the Gold Cup with the USMNT because he needed to play in the Club World Cup with Borussia Dortmund, and this could become a big turning point after having scored only two goals in 25 games played during the 2024-25 season with the German team.
Prediction
Dortmund is the favorites and they should win in the tournament’s opening match, but at the same time, Fluminense has the experience necessary to impress in the Club World Cup, led by a mixture of experienced players and young talents. Take: BVB 2, Fluminense 1.
