George Ford: England fly-half to earn 100th cap in first Test against Argentina | Rugby Union News
George Ford will start half the 5th appearance for England during the first test against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
The 32 -year -old man will become the seventh male centurion in the history of English rugby 11 years after his debut in 2014 against the Wales in the Six Nations.

Ford, who was part of the England team who reached the 2019 Rugby World Cup final, kicked the goals against Argentina at the Rugby World Cup in 2023 while Steve Barthwick’s team reached the semi-finals.

“You never really think, even when you play once, you will get closer to 100. I look forward to it, I am delighted to play in this team. I think the essential for us is to make sure that we have a great week and, hope it, a successful game on weekends.
“We understand the challenge that awaits us. Argentina is obviously in great shape, it is a big team against which to play and we are far from home.
“It is a fairly hostile environment when you come here, but it is incredible to play. The plan for us is to be as well prepared as possible and to impose our match plan, and to obtain an excellent result.”
Ford is joined in the back line by the center of Seb Atkinson and Will Muir, who won their first caps in England, while Guy Pepper Back-Rower Pepper begins on the bench.
Bath Flanker Sam Underhill returns to the configuration of England after missing the six nations with an ankle injury.
