Basic instinct Gets a not so basic restart.

Amazon MGM and producer Scott Stuber have obtained recovery rights Basic instinct,, Weekly entertainment learned. The screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, who wrote the original 1992 erotic thriller, is on board to write the project. Stuber, Nik Nesbit and Craig Baumgarten will produce the film.
