Jofra Archer hits 31 on return to Championship after four-year absence ahead of potential England vs India Test series involvement | Cricket News
Jofra Archer marked her long -awaited return to red ball cricket with a 34 -ball quick fire when Sussex faced Durham in the Rothesay County Championship.
It was his first release of a red ball in more than four years after a series of injuries, and it was feared that ACH suffered another setback after his name was not in the team of 12 people initially announced by Sussex.
But the Board of Directors of England and the Wales subsequently clarified Archer among the Sussex contingent for the competition.
Archer struck three four and one as part of a 57 -point partnership for the ninth window with James Coles, who ended the day without defeat on the 117.
We hope that the 30 -year -old, who is likely to play on Monday, will return to the test in the brand of Brande in England against India this summer.
Anderson frustrated by Kent and the weather
Captain of Lancashire, James Anderson, saw his team frustrated by Kent and the weather because there was a late day at a day of opening of the Rothesay County Championship Two Division in Blackpool.
The liver of all time in England, Anderson, received the captain for the next two games from Lancashire, Marcus Harris having returned to Australia for the birth of his second child.
The hopes of making early breakthroughs at the Stanley Park, however, were educated while Kent – put in the bat – pushed 213 for three to 57.4 overs before the game, after having already seen a delayed restart of the afternoon session, was finally canceled for the day at 5.30 p.m.
The opener of Kent Ben Compton was undefeated on 86, with 10 limits, while the zimbabwe striker, Tawanda Muyeye, had previously made 63 balls. George Balderson ended the day with two counters, while Anderson made 36 points on his nine oversupports which included four young girls.
