Kacey Musgraves postpones show after breaking rib in hard fall
Kacey Musgraves is on the way.
Friday, the Country musician winner of a Grammy revealed on her Instagram stories that she had broken a coast in an “extremely hard fall” in Mexico, forcing her to postpone a performance planned in Nashville.
“SOOO, I am in Mexico with AF -on Broken Rib,” wrote Musgraves, 36, on a radiographic image of his chest. “Wednesday evening, it was raining and I was running to catch towels and I had an extremely difficult fall on a very smooth tile that I did not see. Thanks to not having hit my head but I landed very hard on my left rib cage and broke the number six.”

Musgraves continued to apologize for having reprogrammed his performance during the “The Magic of Mushrooms” event by Sing for Science, which was scheduled for Sunday at the Ryman auditorium.
“There is no physical way to get on a plane and return to Nashville for the Sing for Science event,” said Musgraves. “I am extremely disappointed to have to reprogram because I have been waiting for this for months. But there is literally no other option. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
According to Musgraves, the event has been reprogrammed for September 18 and the original tickets will be valid for the new date.
“Fans have up to 30 days if they cannot arrive on the new date,” she added.
