Kelly Clarkson postpones opening weekend of Las Vegas residency

Kelly Clarkson will return to the stage in Las Vegas a little later than expected.

The singer “from U Be Gone” announced that she had postponed the first two programs of her studio session residence planned for the Coliseum at Caesars Palace on Friday.

“We worked 24/7 to make studio sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” wrote Clarkson on Instagram. “I am more than grateful to always present to you for me, and I am devastated to have to postpone this evening and the opening of tomorrow to Caesars.”

The “stronger” artist revealed that she thought that his voice would not suit the public this weekend. “Preparation and rehearsals have wreaked havoc on my voice,” said Clarkson. “I want the shows to be perfect for all of you, and I have to protect myself from serious damage, so I take this weekend and next week to rest so that we can deliver what you deserve.”

Clarkson plans to launch the residence next week. “The show is really incredible. Musicians and singers are exceptional, and I want us to start strong,” she said. “I can’t wait to return next weekend and show what we worked on.”

After Clarkson’s announcement, Caesars Palace announced that ticket holders who had planned to attend the affected concerts could request a refund or keep their tickets for the reprogrammed shows, which have no dates yet.
