Kelly Ripa calls out ‘Live’ audience member over hand gesture on show
Kelly Ripa has timed the unrevened reaction of a public member to the opinion of Mark Consuelos on cities accessible on foot on Monday morning Live episode.
The talk show returned from the weekend of July 4 to an audience that maybe Could have used an additional day of vacation period, as a particular participant showed his disapproval for the conversation of cohosts during the broadcast.
After Consuelos spoke of a subject of discussion on cities accessible on foot and a recent investigation which praised Philadelphia as the best in the country for walking, Ripa rejected the result.

“What? I mean, I am a big walker in Philly. I come from South Jersey, so I know the region well, but I would say that it is less a city that works than New York,” observed Ripa. “It’s not a grid. It’s everywhere.”
Consuelos continued the list, with cities of Rhode Island (Providence), Vermont (Burlington) and Ohio (Columbus) finishing the list.
While Consuelos spoke of the city of Columbus, the public could be heard applauded in the background.
“Really? Do you know what I think is a pleasant and accessible city on foot? Ann Arbor,” said Consuelos. “Not Columbus, Ohio.”
Ripa then looked out of screen to the audience and asked: “You just gave us thumbs, Lady? What are you, Ohio?”
The public member then shouted: “Columbus!” Before the hosts move, indicating that their beloved New York landed at No. 10 on the list.
“I like the cities where you can walk,” said Ripa, ending the segment. “Listen, I walk in Los Angeles. It is a strange experience, because for me, it is a city so accessible on foot, and yet no one walks there. So, you have to ask yourself, why nobody walks?”
The time of Monday arrived a few days after Ripa called another public member last week.
