Schwarber went 0 for 2 with a promenade before the equality break, making him the first non-al “to win the MVP of the Star Match without getting a blow in the real game.
The 32-year-old slugger took a shot line from .247 / .378 / .545 and 30 Home in a first place pause for first-place phillies. Only Cal Raleigh (38), Aaron Judge (35), Shohei Ohtani (32), and Eugenio Suárez (31) have more circuits than Schwarber.
