Lorde’s ‘Virgin’ album artwork shocks fans with nude photo
Lorde’s new album, Virgin, gave fans a new pop song ear, but his works of art open their eyes with a naked photo that many online said they were included in the vinyl edition of the LP.
In the fall of the album on Friday, fans shared images on social networks that showed what they said was a photo included in the vinyl exit insert. The photo displayed the navel, the interior and the pubic hair of someone, partially visible under the zipper of a pair of transparent pants.
“Lorde showing Lordeussy on his vinyl. I am sitting,” wrote a fan on X, sharing a photo of the NSFW image and clarifying later, “for anyone confused – I like this cover.”

The official online store of Lorde shows the standard cover – an image of blue x -ray of a basin – hovering just above the outline of the photo of naked image fans shared online, with the gray carpet behind the visible body in both.
The singer’s store warns potential buyers with a “parental advice” entirely of caps and informs them that “adult images” are contained inside.

New Zealander’s fourth album, 28, released his first feature film on Friday since 2021 Solar energywho marked a commercial slowdown for the interpreter.
The main single of the new album, “What Was This”, however, reversed this trajectory by becoming the first Hit Solo de Lorde in the top 40 in the United States in almost eight years, its last being “Green Light” of 2017.

The pair later confirmed that the track concerned their links after Lorde jumped on a remix to chop their differences. They have since played the song on stage together.

On the remix, Lorde admitted that she was “speechless” after having woke up with a raw voice note from Charli XCX in which she told him what she thought of their relationship. Lorde promised to “work on the remix” of the track.
“You always say,” let’s go out “, but then I cancel the last minute,” sang Lorde on the new version. “I was so lost in my head and I am afraid of being on your photos because during the last two years, I have been at war with my body. I tried to put myself thinner, then I got back on the weight. I was trapped in a hatred, and your life seemed so great. I never thought a second my voice in your head.”
