Marilyn Manson tribute to Ozzy Osbourne sparks backlash


Marilyn Manson made a short virtual appearance to what was announced as the latest Ozzy Osbourne show with Black Sabbath. He received a disproportionate opinion from the crowd, which quickly hooked the first and went to social networks.

Although Manson did not attend the 10 -hour long at the beginning event in person, he declared in a video message that played between metallica sets, Alice in Chains and other artists that he was honored to be part of it. Manson noted that he was lucky to have played with Black Sabbath.

“It is a great honor to be here via this video,” he told the crowd of Villa Park in Birmingham, England, “and I would like to say congratulations, and I love you very much, Ozzy.”

Some members of the public Hootent and make fun of the rocker “The Beautiful People” Brian Warner, as shown in the video published on The Daily Mail website.

Online, some articles have referred to Manson having been accused of sexual assault and abuse by several women, including her former fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and actress Esmé Bianco.

A user called Manson a “piece of S —” in a Livestream post, which is no longer available, The independent reported. Another added: “Marilyn Manson on the Stream of Black Sabbath F — Off.” There was also, “Ew Marilyn Manson is leaving.”

In January, four years after starting to investigate the allegations against Manson, the Los Angeles County District Office announced that he would not have worn criminal charges. The office said in a statement that, with regard to the allegations of domestic violence, the limitation period was exhausted. Prosecutors also said they did not think they could prove accusations of sexual assault beyond reason.

Manson, 56, had long denied charges against him and called them “horrible distortions of reality”. He filed a defamation complaint against Wood in March 2022. In November, he abandoned him and agreed to pay his legal costs.
