The British and Irish lions produced a devastating increase in the second half to defeat Western Force 54-7, but the victory in Perth was tainted by the loss of the half-Made Tomos Williams with an injury to the hamstrings after the break.

The Lions led 21-7 at the break of the Optus stadium thanks to the tests of Dan Sheehan, Williams and Elliot Daly, but were hampered by a bad discipline, with Henry Pollock Sinned after a succession of penalties.

“We came out of the blocks that shoot, then they returned harshly, and our own indiscipline left them in it. There is a lot to review and we will be much better for that.

“We want to be a ruthless side and show that every week. There is a lot to improve. I think I have brought the spider cloths, so I should fly for the rest of the tour now.”
