“The boxing pedigree is there. I was in and out of the boxing gymnasium as I grow up because I like to fight and like to hit. I can just go. I’m going to fight anyone, where, every time.”
McCann ended his MMA career with 14 wins and eight defeats, but now signed with Matchroom to take boxing.
The promoter Eddie Hearn said: “She will now compete as a boxer and about time, I would also like to say, a former ABA champion, everyone knows the capacity as a boxer, was obviously a massive star within the UFC and also built his profile worldwide.
“We are delighted to start the trip, delighted that she chose Matchroom, was going to fight all over the world and there will be massive nights. We want to keep it nice and active.”
