NBA Finals: Indiana Pacers crush Oklahoma City Thunder to set up Game 7 decider for first time since 2016 | NBA News

The Indiana Pacers crushed Oklahoma City Thunder 108-91 in match 6 of the NBA final to send the series to a decision maker.

Obi Toppin scored 20 points and Andrew Nembhard added 17 to force the first match 7 since 2016, which will take place on Sunday evening in Oklahoma City.

Match 6 was a microcosm of the Indiana season in a way while the Pacers began the regular season with 15 defeats in 25 games, experienced five returns of 15 or more to win matches in these qualifying series, and they are a victory for a title.

“We just wanted to protect the field at home,” said Tyrese Haliburton, who played a tense calf and scored 14 points.

“We did not want to see these guys celebrating a championship on our floor at home. Back against the wall and we have just answered.

For the first time in nine years, the NBA final will be decided by match 7

The Pacers went remarkably 64-42 after the second quarter and never looked back while the Thunder suffered its second biggest defeat of the season.

Their worst also came to the playoffs – a 45 -point hole against Minnesota in the Western Conference final. The Thunder has returned to win this series, of course, and will now need this rebound capacity once again.

“Obviously, it was a very poor performance on our part,” said coach Mark Daigneault.
