“We knew it when we woke up this morning-3-1 is very different from 2-2 to go home,” said Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Pacers went out stealing, scoring 20 points in the first 4:59 – only the second time all season, the Thunder has abandoned much. They led by up to nine first, but could not withdraw.

The match has become upset. Toppin was called for a flagrant 1 on Caruso in the middle of the second quarter, then Toppin was the recipient of a flagrant 1 of Lu sleeps just before half-time. The Pacers closed on a 15-6 race, taking an advance of 60-57 in the break.

The toppin’s basic dunk at the end of the third put Indiana 86-76, his first two-digit lead in the series. Oklahoma City managed to come back. A 13-3 race equaled the match at the start of the fourth quarter at 89-89. The teams tied at 91, 95 and 97. Finally, Thunder exceeded the Pacers. The reverse of Gilgeous-Alexander with 2:23 on the left put the Thunder 104-103, their first advance of the second half.

They kept the rest of the path.

“We wanted to win,” said Siakam. “I thought we were playing well enough for some stretching.

“But unfortunately, this did not happen.”
