Nicole Scherzinger honors late ‘Building the Band’ judge Liam Payne

Nicole Scherzinger honors her late friend and colleague Build the group Judge, Liam Payne.

During the episode of Monday from Late at night with Seth MeyersThe award-winning singer Tony Award admitted that he seemed a little soft to watch episodes of the Netflix song competition from the pair after the unexpected death of Payne at the age of October 31.

“We devoted this program to Liam,” said Scherzinger. “We are so proud of him. He had an incredible time. We had so fun doing the show together and she is such a beautiful and kind soul and heart. ”

Payne tragically fell from a third floor balcony during her visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina last October. While the former One Direction had already finished filming the group before his death, Scherzinger explained that they “would never have continued to share the show” without first receiving the blessing of his family.

“They were actually there in the process while we filmed it,” she noted. “And we are really proud of him and I am delighted that everyone saw Liam shine.”

Scherzinger and Payne go back. The Pussycat Dolls alum has personally helped train the One Direction range while serving as a judge on the British version of the X Factor In 2010. The group – which was composed of Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles – may have finished third in the whole competition, but they have become one of the largest groups of boys in history.

Now Scherzinger, Payne, and the children’s star of Destiny’s Kelly Rowland use their expertise to supervise a new collection of vocal groups on Build the group.

Build the group The host AJ McLean also devoted the series to Payne during the first of the program earlier this month.
