Paranormal investigator dies while touring with Annabelle haunted doll
The investigator Paranormal Dan Rivera died suddenly while presenting the famous Annabelle doll which inspired several entries Conjure franchise.
Rivera, 54, principal principal investigator of the New England Society for Psychic Research, based in Connecticut, died on Sunday July 13 during his visit to Gettysburg, Penn., As part of the company Devils on the run tour.
In a shared press release on Instagram, the main investigator of the Nespr, Chris Gilloren, announced the news. “It is with deep sadness that Tony, Wade and I share the sudden death of our friend and close partner, Dan Rivera. We have a broken heart and who always treats this loss,” read the post. “Dan really believed in sharing his experiences and educating people on the paranormal. His kindness and his passion touched all those who knew him. Thank you for your support and your kind thoughts during this difficult period.”

According to the company’s website, Rivera was from Bridgeport, in Connecticut, which has worked on research and paranormal surveys for more than 10 years. He previously served in the American army.
“At an early age, he was initiated into haunting phenomena, having attended paranormal events on his house,” read his biography. Rivera, who was also a advisory producer at the Netflix Show 28 haunted days, was frequently presented on the advertising events of Nespr’s social accounts and offering fans an overview of various haunted objects.

As part of Devils on the run Tour, Rivera presented the Raggedy Ann doll, called “Annabelle”, whom the New England Society for Psychic Research describes as “possessed by demonic demonstration”. The origins of the doll date back to 1968 and serves one of the most famous cases taken by paranormal investigators and the founders of Nespr Ed and Lorraine Warren – the couple whose careers and files have inspired Conjure franchise.
