Poland Darts Masters 2025: Schedule, format, draw as Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price compete | Darts News

The reigning world champion, Luke Littler, aims for the consecutive titles of the masters of Poland Darts while the stars of the game descend on Gliwice this weekend.

After exciting stops in Bahrain, Den Bosch, Copenhagen and New York, the Fifth event of the World Series of Darts of the year landed in Gliwice on Friday, July 4, where 16 elite players will compete in La Prezero Arena.

The defending champion Littleler and the 2023 winner, Michael Van Gerwen, are the third edition of the Masters of Poland Darts, joined by five host representatives in a star program.

Littler made sensational debut in Poland last year, overcoming Peter Wright and Michael Smith dramatically before passing Rob Cross in the final to raise the trophy.

The teenager begins her defense of the title with a convincing confrontation of the first round against Karel Sedlacek, freshly out of the Chechy at the top of the first final of the Darts World Cup last month.

“It was an incredible feeling to lift this trophy in front of a massive crowd, and I hope that I will be able to defend the title this weekend,” said Littleler, who also holds the crown of the world finals.

“Working in the world on World Series is an incredible experience, and I loved every moment of my time in Poland last year.

“I’m really looking forward to starting. This first match is still crucial, it sets the tone and gives you this winning feeling on stage.”

Dutch Van Gerwen, the only other former field champion, returns to Poland after a dominant display in the inaugural edition of the tournament, where he has an average of 106.63 on four games in Warsaw.

Van Gerwen opens his campaign against the new Croatian Vent Pero Ljubic, one of the four beginners in this year’s competition.

Friday’s opening tour will see eight PDC superstars face eight Eastern European Challengers, including the best classified player in Poland Krzysztof Ratajski.
