‘Power Rangers’ actor sent home on ‘Building the Band’


Blame him on Lord Zedd: Power Rangers The Alum Chance Perez was one of the first competitors returned to his home during the first in the new series of reality song of Netflix, Build the group.

After having released a handful of singles in real life, announced that they were separating in 2020 – but Perez was not quite ready to abandon his childhood dream.

“I loved being in a group with other people who have the same passion as me,” he explained before his performance. “It’s something I really want to be part of, that’s why I’m here.”

The nervous performance of Perez, however, has raised technical alarms among the other candidates. “He slides the step a little, but I like his tone,” noted one of them. A second participant added: “I don’t hear much control.”

And a third admitted: “I didn’t really hear a confident singer.”

When asked by the host AJ McLean to share his reflections on his hearing, Perez admitted that it was not the “best performance” he could have delivered. He continued: “I felt like I was screaming the notes instead of singing them.”

The backstreet Boys star explained that to stay in competition, Perez needed at least five additional singers to want to create a group with him. “I’m really sorry my friend, but you only had three likes,” said McLean. “It is not enough to continue you in the competition. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry, I’m afraid it’s time to go home. ”

Perez appeared visibly emotional in an interview after his elimination. “It was not the best representation of my voice, so … it’s difficult,” he said, wiping tears of his eyes. “I want to sing music for the rest of my life, but it didn’t work, you know?”

After his departure, a photo of chance was sent to the rest of the competitors. “I had the chance of my tastes!” A candidate exclaimed. Another added: “I could see him in a group of boys, you know? He’s look!”
