Rebel Wilson on the one ‘Bride Hard’ stunt she refused to do

Rebel Wilson launched (and struck, turned, and fought) in all the facets of his role in the action comedy Harshly marriedBut there was a blow that she was too afraid of doing.

In the film, she embodies Sam, a secret agent whose marriage of the bridesmaid at the marriage of her best friend takes an extreme turn when a group of mercenaries present themselves unexpectedly and takes everyone hostage, forcing her to put herself in her most personal mission to date.

Wilson was delighted to tackle a more heavy role in action and tried to do as many waterfalls as it could. “Unless it is with heights,” she said Weekly entertainment. “There is a waterfall where my character jumps from a second floor window from the top of a van and on a wedding cake – that I could just Never. “”

She continues: “One, jumping out of a window, and two, jumping so far, I mean, it would have frightened hell. So that the one I did not do, but the combat scenes themselves – yes, I like to do them. I learned them and I trained for five weeks before starting filming to do these combat scenes, and I really enjoyed doing them.”

Wilson is not the only one to make fun waterfalls in the film. Anna Camp, who plays the film’s bride, goes up at some point on Wilson’s back in a giant tube that the bad guys use to suck their stolen loot in their waiting getaway vehicles.

“I was delighted to shoot this tube scene,” said Camp, sitting next to Wilson, in EW. “I didn’t know how we were going to do that. I remember talking to Simon [West, director] And go there: “How do we turn that?” Will all this be CGI or anything? “”

She continues, laughing, “then he puts us in front of a green screen. There is this giant tube flying behind us. And I remember [what’s in the finished film] was one of the catches he let us go. We were literally improvises for five minutes. I just said the strangest and craziest things, and I think a handful [made it in]Because it’s so short when you see the film, but we go down this tube for good 15 minutes when we shot it. “”
