Let’s be honest – we all called it “Mac” anyway.
It is always beautiful in Philadelphia Star Rob Mcelhenney has listed a file legally submitted in Rob Mac, this is how he will be credited in projects in the future, his representative has confirmed Weekly entertainment Friday.
The actor has cited world confusion on the pronunciation of his family name as a reason for change.
“While our company and our narration are developing in other regions of the world and other languages in which my name is even more difficult to pronounce, I just go by Rob Mac,” he said in an interview with Variety last month.

Kaitlin Olson, Mcelhenney’s wife and her Sunny Costar, told Variety That her husband’s new nickname will require some adjustments. “Children are really not satisfied because they have this last name,” she said. “And me too, legally!”

MCELHENNEY herself fought with the decision, but his concerns concerning the lack of respect for her ancestors fell when he learned that some family members had already changed the spelling of their family name, or at least considered it, he said Variety.
The powers in place should have a lot of time to update title cards on his programs – FX Welcome to Wrexham finished its fourth season this week and was renewed for a fifth season, while season 18 of FXX Sunny is still in preparation.
