‘Rogue One’ director says he’s happy to move on from ‘Star Wars’ franchise

Snape One Tell the story of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), a solitary in difficulty which is recruited by the rebel to steal the plans of the death of the Empire before it is too late. Combine with rebels like the enigmatic Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and the sarcastic droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Jyn’s quest for salvation and redemption takes place until the beginning of the original film, Star Wars: A New Hope.

Snape One was acclaimed by criticism and fans when it was released in 2016, totaling more than a billion dollars worldwide. It was largely considered to be one of the best films in the franchise since Lucasfilm was bought by Disney in 2012, an assertion that Edwards is flattered, but does not accept.
“I do not agree with that, but I appreciate it,” said the winner of the British Independent Film Awards BI. “I am very grateful that people say beautiful things. [But] What you have to keep in your pocket while you spend by making other films is that it is not the way people feel the day they are released, that’s what people feel at 10, 20 years old. “”
He continued: “When you make a film, you live at least in a year, you try to imagine what it is, all these decisions you make, what will they be in a year when this film will be released, what will the public think?”

The series ended this spring with its second season. While many fans can be sad that this chapter of Star Wars Universe concludes, Luna said it was relieved that the series ended with a clear scenario.
