Suspect charged with murder in shooting of ‘American Idol’ exec, husband

A suspect in the double homicide of American idol The music supervisor Robin Kaye and her musician husband Thomas Deluca were charged.

Raymond Bodarian, a 22 -year -old resident in the Encino district of Los Angeles, where crime was perpetrated, was charged after his arrest on Tuesday of two murder leaders and a first degree residential burglary.

The Los Angeles County District Prosecutor Nathan J. Hochman announced Thurrdsay that the Bodarian burglary accusation is also accompanied by two special circumstance allegations – several murders and murder during the commission of a burglary. If he is charged, Bodarian faces a maximum perpetuity prison sentence without the possibility of parole.

“In a few moments, this couple was insensily killed in their own house when they came back from the grocery store,” said Hochman. “This tragic shooting has shaken a community of the valley and the idea that the house should be our safe sanctuary. Our thoughts and prayers go to their family and friends who cry this huge loss.”

Kaye and Deluca, both 70 years old, were discovered on Monday by police after neighbors called to make a social protection check, fearing that they had not seen or heard of the couple for several days. Kaye and Deluca were declared dead on the stage. Boodarian was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of crime.

Hochman claims that Bodarian would have entered the home of Kaye and Deluca on the 4700 block of White Oak avenue by a door unlocked on July 10.

Bodarian’s indictment was set for August 20 at the Van Nuys courthouse.

Kaye was a career music supervisor who spent 14 seasons American idolMusic department. She also has credits for supervision, authorization and advice on series such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer,, Lip synchronization battle,, Hollywood game eveningand the Miss Universe Historical reconstruction.

Deluca was a prolific singer-songwriter who also wrote songs for acts like Diesel and Meredith Brooks, according to his website.
