Groupings and Tee Times for the first round of the 153rd Open, held in Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.

Rory McILroy received a late draw while he was pursuing a second major victory of the season, the number 2 world in partnership of Tommy Fleetwood Tommy Fleetwood for the first two laps.

Scottie Scheffler is on the other side of the draw alongside Collin Morikawa and Shane Lowry, who won in the last outfit of the open to Royal Portrush in 2019, while the reigning champion, Xander Schauffele, American partners, open JJ Spaun and Jon Rahm champion.
