The main male season reaches its highest point this month at the Open of 153rd, with prolonged coverage of Royal Portrush Live exclusively on Sky Sports.
The tournament returns to Northern Ireland for the first time since 2019, when Shane Lowry impressed winning her first major title, while Xander Schauffele is back as defending champion after the victory of Royal Too from last year.
Rory McILroy has had them on the ground at home for the first time since the end of the Grand Chelem career at the Masters in April, McILroy seeking to record a second major victory of the season and to win a first victory in Northern Ireland as a professional.
Scottie Scheffler Global N ° 1 is again the favorite of the pre-turnri while he pursues a fourth major victory in as many years, with Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Bryson Dechambeau, Jon Rahm and Tommy Fleetwood among the others in action in a starry field.

When does the cover of the open departure?
Live cover starts at 6:30 am Thursday and Friday on Sky Sports Golf, with at least 15 hours of action per day, with bonus flows available on Sky Sports + or the Sky Sports application.
“Saturday at the open” and Sunday at the open “offer updates of the route alongside the challenges of the shooting center, special guests, fun features and much more on weekends, with this cover from 9 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. for Sunday.
The early game of the last two laps will start on Sky Sports + and the Sky Sports application before the full coverage of the Sky Sports Golf at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on the last day, passing until the final putt is locked up.
What additional open cover will be on Sky Sports +?
There will be four separate star groups to follow each day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon, with these groups and confirmed timings once the hours of the TEE are announced.
The flow of featured holes will be a “par-three channel” and will cover the emblematic per-third sixth and 16th holes, with this offer available just before the opening group reaches the sixth hole every day.
Two additional sessions of “The Open: At The Range” will also be live during the round of Thursday and Friday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with all additional flows of Sky Sports + on Sky TV, Streaming Service Now and The Sky Sports App.
