Viktor Gyokeres transfer: Sporting president confirms forward to face disciplinary action after missing training amid Arsenal interest | Football News
Sports President Frederico Varandas confirmed that striker Viktor Gykerres would face disciplinary procedures at the club after failing training on Saturday.
Gykerres was to come back for pre-season training on July 12, after the club gave him permission to delay his return.
Arsenal has been in talks to sign the 27 -year -old player, but has so far failed to reach an agreement on an agreement of 69 million pounds sterling.
Varandas said: “We are calm. Everything can be resolved with the closure of the market, a heavy fine and excuses for the group.
“If they do not want to pay the fair market value of Viktor, we will be very comfortable with this for the next three years.
“If the geniuses who design this strategy think that it puts pressure on me to facilitate the part of leaving, not only are they completely false, but they also make the player’s departure more complicated.
“No one is above the interests of the club. Whoever they are.”
Sportsmen want initial costs of 60.4 million pounds sterling, plus 8.6 million pounds sterling in additional modules.
