ATLANTA – Major League Baseball and the Braves of Atlanta honored the late Legend Henry “Hank” Aaron on Tuesday evening before the seventh round of the Star Match, five years after his death in 2021.

Aaron’s remarkable career Capstone was his 715th Home Run in a career, breaking the Babe Ruth record. Aaron struck, one of the most famous circuits in the history of baseball on April 8, 1974, but the number 715 is what continues. Tuesday’s stars’ game came on July 15 (or 7/15), so there was a small serendipity there.

The temple of fame still holds the RBI record and additional safety blows, although Barry Bonds broke his Home Run record in 2007.

The widow of Aaron, Billee, was present at Trist Park for the incredible honor.

Major League Baseball organized a very cool show, including a fireworks from marble to the outside field to simulate this legendary n ° 715. The dashboard of the central field showed virtual stages taken around the bases as if Aaron had just made a home and visuals were displayed on the diamond showing some of its most emblematic moments.

Note also that Aaron holds the record for the games of the stars because it was an All-Star at 25 times during his career. It does not look like a record that can never be broken, so honor it in a stars game is appropriate.

The players of the National League took the practice of the striker in jerseys No. 44 before the match, another honor touching for the baseball icon.

All-star games always have additional bells and whistles to create an air of its additional special event, but it was one of the best keys that the League has ever gathered.
