Exceptional main actress in a dramatic series
Sonja Flemming / CBS
Kathy Bates, Matlock
Sharon Horgan, Bad sisters
Britt Lower, Breakup
Bella Ramsey, The last of us
Keri Russell, The diplomat
Who will win: Kathy Bates
She was nominated twice before in this category (for NBC Harry’s lawin 2011 and 2012), but the third time will be the charm of the 77 -year -old man Matlock star. Bates, which was already universally loved, was showered by distinctions for her performance as Madeline “Matty” Matlock since CBS’s drama made her first (and became a success) last fall. And don’t feel bad for other candidates – it will be an honor to lose against Kathy Freaking Bates.

Exceptional main actor in a dramatic series
Warrick Page / Max
Sterling K. Brown, Heaven
Gary Oldman, Slow horses
Pedro Pascal, The last of us
Adam Scott, Breakup
Noah Wyle, The Pitt
Who will win: Noah Wyle
It will be a narrow race in the theater categories between Breakup (27 total appointments) and The Pitt (24 nominations). However, it is difficult to deny that Wyle – a five -year candidate Er – gave the performance of his career as Dr “Robby” Robinavitch in the acclaimed HBO drama.
Exceptional main actress in a series of comedy
Max
Uzo aduba, The residence
Kristen Bell, Nobody wants that
Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary
Ayo Edebiri, The bear
Jean Smart, Hacks
Who will win: Jean Smart
It’s nice to see Kristen Bell get her very first appointment, and Uzo Aduba deserves better after giving a killer performance in the mystery of Netflix murder The residence – Only for the streamer to cancel it after a season. Regarding the night of the Emmy, however, it will be difficult to beat Smart, already a triple winner here, who continues to make the shine easy with her hilarious turn as an actress Deborah Vance.
Exceptional main actor in a series of comedy
Apple TV + (2)
Adam Brody, Nobody wants that
Seth Rogen, The studio
Jason Segel, Contraction
Martin Short, Only murders in the building
Jeremy Allen White, The bear
Who will win: Seth Rogen
Who should win: Jason Segel
The studio is very fun and has had great performance – including the Ike Barinholtz nominated as Sal Sperstein and the candidate Zoë Kravitz as a very high version of itself. That said, I’m almost sure that even Seth Rogen would be suitable for him not until, you know, being Seth Rogen – excitable, gregarious, sympathetic – that the CEO of New Continental Studios, Matt Remick. ContractionSegel, on the other hand, is a master of the pathos of Goofball as a widowed therapist (but in healing) Jimmy.
Exceptional support actress in a dramatic series
Fabio Lavino / HBO (2)
Patricia Arquette, Breakup
Carrie Coon, The white lotus
Katherine Lanasa, The Pitt
Julianne Nicholson, Heaven
Parker Posey, The white lotus
Natasha Rothwell, The white lotus
Loves Lou Wood, The white lotus
Who will win: Carrie Coon
Who should win: Aimee Lou Wood
Do not come for me, Carrie Coon Hive! I recognize that it is one of our biggest living actresses, and we are blessed whenever it is on our screen. But apart from a truly epic monologue, Coon was underused on The white lotus – While the Woo-Woo heroine of Wood Chelsea was, in many ways, the heart of season 3.
Exceptional support actor in a dramatic series
Fabio Lavino / HBO; Apple TV +
Zach Cherry, Breakup
Walton Goggins, The white lotus
Jason Isaacs, The white lotus
James Marsden, Heaven
Sam Rockwell, The white lotus
Tramell Tillman, Breakup
John Turturro, Breakup
Who will win: Walton Goggins
Who should win: Tramell Tillman
Normally, it would hurt to choose anyone compared to the Walton goggins – which has been expected for a long time for a victory at the Emmy (see: see: The shield,, Justified,, Son of anarchy,, To fall). With Tillman, however, it’s an easy choice. The man simply commands the screen as a deputy director of Lumon impenetrable Seth Milchick. (I am still thinking of the incredible nuance that the actor delivered when Milchick received these frightening and offensive paintings from Kier Eagan.) In addition, there was literally never a black winner in this category before. It makes me feel three of the four temperatures.
Exceptional support actress in a comedy series
With the kind permission of Max; Disney / Gilles Mingasson
Liza Colón-Zayas, The bear
Hannah Einbinder, Hacks
Kathryn Hahn, The studio
Janelle James, Abbott Elementary
Catherine O’Hara, The studio
Sheryl Lee Ralph, Abbott Elementary
Jessica Williams, Contraction
Who goes / should win: Hannah Einbinder
In a perfect world, it would be a link between the nominant quadruple deserving Hannah Einbinder and the quadruple, deserving the nominated, Janelle James. Unfortunately, the links are rare in the actor categories. If the director of James Ava can lose her job and bounce better than ever, she can manage the expectations more for gold.
Exceptional support actor in a comedy series
Apple TV +; Sandy Morris / HBO
Ike Barinholtz, The studio
Colman Domingo, The four seasons
Harrison Ford, Contraction
Jeff Hiller, Someone somewhere
Ebon Moss-Bachrach, The bear
Michael Urie, Contraction
Bowen Yang, Saturday Night Live
Who will win: Harrison Ford
Who should win: Jeff Hiller
Okay, listen to me. Yes, Harrison Ford is a national treasure, and it would be great to see him win his first Emmy at 83. But! Someone somewhere – HBO phenomenal comedy on an eclectic group of friends in Manhattan, Kan. – had his standard final last year. Hiller, a gentle and endearing force like SomewhereI Joel, I will have no other time to be honored for this role. And Contraction Season 3 of shooting 3, which will undoubtedly include another performance worthy of Ford reward that voters can name in 2026. Do you see? Everyone wins!
Exceptional main actress in a limited series or film or anthology
MACALL PROLAY / HBO; Sarah Shatz / Fx
Cate Blanchett, Non-liability clause
Meghann Fahy, Sirens
Rashida Jones, Black mirror
Cristin Milioti, The penguin
Michelle Williams, Die for sex
Who goes / should win: Michelle Williams
GAH! Another impossible choice. Michelle Williams and Cristin Milioti both deserve to bring gold back to the house here, but we give the advantage to the previous winner Williams, who did everything – ironic comedy! Tearing drama! Amateur BDSM! – In the dramatic of Hulu Randy cancer, Die for sex.
Exceptional main actor in a limited series or film or anthology
MACALL PROLAY / MAX
Colin Farrell, The penguin
Stephen Graham, Adolescence
Jake Gyllenhaal, Presumed innocent
Brian Tyree Henry, Dope thief
Cooper Koch, Monsters: the story of Lyle and Erik Menendez
Who will win: Colin Farrell
Adolescence is a mastodon, and he is ready to win for limited series and at least a few actor categories – but not this one. Voters like a transformation, and nobody in this more transformed category more than Colin Farrell, which has hidden under layers and layers of latex to play the Ching by sucking Gotham Oswald “Oz” COBB. Not that the prostheses did all the work; Farrell’s widely rented performance has already earned him a well -deserved golden globe.
Exceptional support actress in a limited series or film or anthology
With the kind authorization of Ben Blackall / Netflix; Sarah Shatz / Fx
Erin Doherty, Adolescence
Ruth Negga, Presumed innocent
Deirdre O’Connell, The penguin
Chloë Sevigny, Monsters: the story of Lyle and Erik Menendez
Jenny Slate, Die for sex
Christine TREMARCO, Adolescence
Who will win: Erin Doherty
Aimé, loved, loved the funny and poignant performance of Jenny Slate as Nikki Die for sexBut television does not become more fascinating than episode 3 of AdolescenceWhen Briony Ariston de Doherty spends an hour increasingly tense and terrifying interviewing the 13 -year -old murderer Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper).
Exceptional support actor in a limited series or film or anthology
With the kind authorization of Netflix
Javier Bardem, Monsters: the story of Lyle and Erik Menendez
Bill camp, Presumed innocent
Owen Cooper, Adolescence
Rob Delaney, Die for sex
Peter Sarsgaard, Presumed innocent
Ashley Walters, Adolescence
Who will win: Owen Cooper
It would be shocking if the voters do not award this at 15 years old Adolescence The star Owen Cooper, who will be the youngest male winner in the history of the Emmy. (Roxana Zal was 14 years old when she won an Emmy for her role in the 1984 TV movie Something about Amelia.)
