Northern Ireland won a historic victory at the Betvictor 2025 World Cup, beating Wales 10-9 on Sunday in a dramatic final in Frankfurt.

Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney – The fourth seeds of the tournament – melted in tears after hearing their nerve to make the story with a 10-9 defeat by Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price.

After dragging 7-5, the triumphant pair retaliated to lead 9-7, to miss four match darts for the title at 9-8, allowing Clayton and Price-Champions in 2020 and 2023-to force a decision maker.

An emotional rock and a Guurney tried to say how they felt after Northern Ireland won the World Cup for the first time
